Model of the Luisitania

This model was carved by a chap who was a carpenter aboard the ship in 1908-1914. It was made from a piece of damaged teak handrail when the ship was in port for an overhaul.

Guernsey The cruise ship can’t dock on this little island, so a tender pulls up to the side of the ship and up to 150 people cram into it for the short ride to shore. It was rough.
