This was amazing to say the least. These are all holes in the ground due to the battles that took place here in World War 2. In some places, there were enormous craters in the ground! Still looks entirely authentic.

For the first half of 2006, I studied abroad in Northern France. During the school term (five months), I travelled throughout France and to Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany, Belgium and Spain. I then backpacked through more of Spain, Italy on my own for almost three weeks before meeting up with a Contiki group to visit the Greek Islands of Mykonos, Santorini and Ios. Needless to say, this experience has changed my life and started a travel bug that keeps biting every few months!
