"I LOVE to travel. I love to travel so much, that when I die, I want to reincarnate into a bird, so I could travel all the days of my life..."

This is a piece from a poem I wrote, with the same title (I Love to Travel).

I recently moved to Heidelberg, Germany with my husband of ten years. I am a writer and travel photographer. I have traveled to some countries in the Caribbean, and now that I am here in Germany, I hope to do just as much traveling as I did, to further broaden my horizons.

Please enjoy my travel blogs.

Maybe because it’s the city, and just not knowing the sights to see, it felt like being in Strasbourg, but this time, it was another country. They speak French too, but this time I had problems ordering food because I have been learning German and I have to remember to say ‘oui’, instead of ‘ya’ - which yeah, won’t make a difference to ... read more

Went to Strasbourg, France over the weekend. A lovely city - hotels and eateries galore; yes, there was a McDonald's there. The train station, Gare de Strasbourg, was huge and the building almost invisible behind a glass building, making it look like a ship inside a bottle. If you want t go there for a weekend, especially from Germany, it's a great getaway to experience France. An hour and a half car drive from Heidelberg, Germany. ... read more

But oh, was it sssooo good! Drizzled with honey and a scope of vanilla ice cream, I sat there at the Thai restaurant, eating this dessert that was like an aphrodisiac. And I mean that literally. My husband and I went touring around the city of Heidelberg, near the Universtät and the infamous Heidelberg castle, and found a Thai restaurant surrounded by other eateries from different countries. We decided to eat outside and enjoy the European lifestyle of relaxation. No rush, even after you pay for your meal. I had Moo Nam Tok - cold beef salad - and my husband had Green Curried Beef. Everything from that to the wanton soup was well seasoned and delectable. We had fun venturing out on our own. I met my husband after work, by taking the shuttle ... read more
